According to a social media post, Stone Creek Coffee will close its 88Nine RadioMilwaukee location, 158 S. Barclay St., at the end of the day on Thursday, Nov. 15. Employees were notified last night and will be offered jobs at other cafes, according to the post.

"The events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic have brought about the necessity to close this cafe," the post reads. "While we will be sad to not see so many friends and guests in this space, we do invite you to come see us at our nearby Bay View cafe, (Downer location), or our downtown Factory cafe and headquarters."

Stone Creek moved into the building in 2013 after it was purchased by 88Nine RadioMilwaukee.

RADIO MKE CAFE - Last night we announced to our team that we would be permanently closing the Radio MKE Cafe at the end of the day on Sunday, November 15th. This morning, we are sharing this news with all of you. We are committed to continuing to employ our Radio MKE Cafe team in our other cafes without cutting anyone’s hours. The decision to close this cafe has been difficult. We are proud of our collaborative work and partnership with @RadioMilwaukee over the many years since their earliest days on Vliet Street. However, the events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic have brought about the necessity to close this cafe. While we will be sad to not see so many friends and guests in this space after Sunday, November 15th, we do invite you to come see us at our nearby Bay View cafe, or our downtown Factory cafe and headquarters. We do not currently have any plans to close other cafes at this time.
