Pizano's Pizza & Pasta at 1150 N. Water St. has closed.

The Chicago-based pizza restaurant, which opened in October of 2018 after four years of intense anticipation, seems to have gone out without much ado.

There were no formal announcements and no Facebook posts. Only a disconnected phone number and removal from the locations listing on the official Pizano's website.

The location was the first Wisconsin location for the restaurant, which operates five stores in the Chicagoland area.
