It's been nearly a year since we introduced you to "Run, Engine, Run," a roots rock CD we dubbed Trapper Schoepp and The Shades' "love letter to Wisconsin." Since then, Side One Dummy signed the band, gussied up the record and released it nationally last month. A few weeks ago, the label announced that Trapper Schoepp and the Shades will tour with The Wallflowers. Clearly, it was time to get in touch with Schoepp again and catch up.
