In January, OnMilwaukee announced Wioletta's Polish Market was opening soon at 3955 S. Howell Ave. And according to plan, the doors swung open today.
The market is owned by husband-and-wife team Adam and Wioletta Bartoszek. Wioletta, who worked at grocery stores in Poland, manages the shop.
Wioletta's offers a large Polish deli, bakery, groceries, household items, candy, greeting cards and gifts.
"We have all of the basic Polish foods but also expand into other authentic Polish items and decor," Adam told us in January.
We stopped by today for the grand opening for a First Look at the space.
Wioletta’s Polish Market is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
