Two Birds Event Group, owners of The Ivy House, Filament and The Starling, will add another Third Ward venue to their brand. In January, they will open The Rivulet in the Renaissance Building, 309 N. Water St.
Rivulet, or small stream, is a French word. It pays tribute to the venue’s location along the Milwaukee River.
“We’ve seen with all of our venues that an outdoor element is so desirable, and it’s even better when we can add water,” says co-owner Tyler Curran. “We are excited to expand our presence in the Third Ward community and create happy memories for people in this special space.”
Two Birds will make minor renovations to the space to create a fresh, urban sanctuary with natural elements in a historic building.
Additional features of the space are:
- Capacity of 225 for a seated event
- Exposed Cream City brick and timber beams on the ceiling
- A private get-ready space
- Outdoor patio along Riverwalk
