What beer lover doesn’t love a beer festival? After all, there’s no better place to try (risk free) a plethora of brews while enjoying time with friends and family.
But beer festivals also pose a conundrum. How does one get to and from the festival safely? The Wisconsin Beer Lovers Festival, coming up on June 17 at Bayshore Town Center, is tackling the issue head-on with a creative, fun new offering.
"Each year the Wisconsin Beer Lover's Fest does everything in their power to promote responsible drinking," notes Evan Hughes, publisher at DRAFT Magazine. "We provide free bottled water at the event, a designated driver tent with Sprecher Soda options and we regularly partner with both cab services and UBER."
This year, Hughes says, they’ve taken their partnerships one step further, providing shuttle options from both Camp Bar Shorewood, Camp Bar Third Ward and Lakefront Brewery.
Shuttle tickets cost just $10 and include early check-in at the festival, a Lakefront beer to enjoy prior and a slice of pizza and popcorn.
Signing up for the shuttle is also easy as pie. Attendees simply purchase a shuttle ticket, choose their location and pick-up time and rest easy, knowing they have safe, responsible transportation before and after the event. Sign-up for return shuttles will be available at check-in at the festival.
