- A weekend full of fun and flavor is coming. Get a taste of it all at the Craft Beer Walk and Dells On Tap October 18-19.
Beer hunting season is here and there are few, if any, places more suited to a beer scavenger hunt than the five-story 1877 Italianate brewing “castle” that is the former Pabst Brewing Co. brewhouse at 1215 N. 10th St. in the Brewery District.
The building – with its remnants of the copper brew kettles, King Gambrinus stained glass window and curving staircase, and that iconic street-spanning sign outside – is the scene of the Yelp Beer Hunt at Brewhouse Inn & Suites, Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The free event includes a scavenger hunt in the former brewhouse – now home to the Brewhouse Inn & Suites hotel – during which participants will discover seven breweries and samples their wares.
Use your pass to find the breweries – 1840, Urban Harvest, Dead Bird, Big Head, Third Space, Pilot Project and Pabst – and once its filled, you can head over to the after-party at On Tap, the hotel’s beer-focused restaurant, where there will be free food and drink, DJs, photo ops and more.
Admission is free to guests 21 and over, but you have to have a Yelp profile with your real name and photo and your location set to Milwaukee to participate.
RSVP online here. Each participant must RSVP individually.
