Christmas has come early for Milwaukee live entertainment lovers, apparently. In addition to Imagine Dragons, AJR, P!nk and Trevor Noah all announcing Brew City shows today, Fiserv Forum revealed pop icon Lizzo will make her Milwaukee return on Tuesday, May 16 as a part of her "The Special 2our."
The May concert will mark the "Juice," "About Damn Time" and "Good as Hell" singer's first Milwaukee show since hitting the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse stage during Summerfest 2019. Since that buzzy Big Gig performance, Lizzo's only gotten more famous, winning three Grammys in 2020, an Emmy for her dancing competition show "Watch Out for the Big Grrrls" on Prime Video, playing both host and musical guest on "SNL," and playing a supporting role in the critically acclaimed, almost Oscar-nominated dramedy "Hustlers."
Tickets for the Fiserv Forum tour stop will go on sale beginning Friday, Nov. 18 at 10 a.m. at Lizzo's website. However, there will also be a presale for American Express card members running from 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16 through 10 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17.
For more concert updates – because apparently they're all arriving today – stay tuned to OnMilwaukee.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
