How does one celebrate a historic 50-point performance in an NBA Finals clincher? With a 50-piece chicken nugget order, of course!

After winning the city's first sports title in half a century, a sleep-deprived and very hungry Giannis took to Instagram Live to document his glamorous first post-championship meal: a trip through the Chick-fil-A drive-thru, complete with his partner Mariah Danae Riddlesprigger as well as the Finals MVP trophy and a purloined Larry O'Brien trophy along for the ride. ("I stole the trophy from the organization," he tells Instagram. "I don't know the consequences; do I get traded?" I have a feeling they won't.)

After pulling up to the drive-thru and asking the server if he could put her on camera (Giannis: so polite even when hangry!), he placed his immediately-iconic order: a 50-piece chicken nuggets – "not 51, not 49" – to match his 50-piece against the Phoenix Suns, plus a half lemonade/half Sprite to wash the victorious breakfast down. Pro tip, Chick-fil-A: Put this exact order on the menu at all Wisconsin locations, call it the Giannis special, and profit. 

Now, this alone would already make an incredible chapter in Giannis' ever-increasing book of American junk food adventures – but the Instagram Live video kept going as nearby crowds recognized their famous breakfast companion and came to say hi. Giannis got them on camera, led a "Bucks in six" chant and even allowed one fan to touch the Larry O'Brien trophy. So that hand's never getting washed again.

The only disappointing part of Giannis' breakfast run? Despite his pleas – and despite, you know, dropping 50 points in a Finals-clinching game last night – the Greek Freak couldn't get a Chick-fil-A employee to grant him free food for life. 

You win some, you lose some. 

It's yet another delightful reason why we love Giannis. And considering we're not even 12 hours out from winning the title and still have a victory parade to throw, we have a pretty good feeling that there are a lot more to come this week alone.
