Finks, a new East Side bar, located at 1875 N. Humboldt Ave., will open its doors at 4 p.m. today. The space was acquired through a lease by the Mojofuco group this past December.
The current tap list includes Lakefront Fixed Gear, Boulder Never Summer, Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye, Oscar Blues Yella Pils, New Holland Imperial Hatter IPA, Ommegang Abbey Ale, North Coast Old Stock.
Tomorrow will mark the opening for Big Daddy's Brew & 'Que, located in the space which once held Ovations, next to iPic at the Bayshore Town Center. The restaurant, which sampled its spicy chili to eager customers at the Milwaukee Chili Bowl in January, aims to serve "bad ass barbeque and homegrown craft brews" for lunch and dinner.
Weekday specials will include $9.95 beef ribs on Mondays, $1 Sloppy Texan sliders on Tuesdays, and $5 pulled pork sandwiches on Wednesdays. Draft beers will include Miller Lite, Central Waters Ouisconsing Red Ale, Lakefront East Side Dark, Tyranena’s Rocky’s Revenge, Sand Creek Hard Lemonade, New Glarus Spotted Cow, Big Daddy’s Classic Ale, and a seasonal brew from Leinenkugel’s. The bar will also feature $10 signature beer backs, cocktails made with beer, including the Barbeque Bloody, the Smoked Gin-gin Mule and Sweet Tea Lemonade.
Their hours will be Sunday-Thursday, from 11 a.m. until midnight, and Friday-Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.

When she’s not eating, photographing food, writing or planning for TV and radio spots, you’ll find Lori seeking out adventures with her husband Paul, traveling, cooking, reading, learning, snuggling with her cats and looking for ways to make a difference.
