The Milwaukee Bucks released their 2010-11 schedule today. Here's the news release from the team:
The Milwaukee Bucks open the home portion of their 43rd NBA season on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. against the Charlotte Bobcats, the team announced today in conjunction with the release of the 2010-11 NBA regular season schedule. The home opener is the first of 23 weekend home games on the schedule for 2010-11. The Bucks start the season with two games on the road at New Orleans on Wednesday, Oct. 27 and Friday, Oct. 29 at Minnesota.
The new-look Miami Heat make two stops in Milwaukee, while the Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics make their lone visit of the season on Sunday, March 6. Central Division rivals from Detroit (Feb. 5, March 1), Chicago (Feb. 26, March 26) and Cleveland (March 9, April 9) won't make their first Bradley Center appearances until February 2011.
Fans will get an early look at the Western Conference as five of the Bucks first seven home opponents are from the West including the defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. Portland (Nov. 2), New Orleans (Nov. 6), Golden State (Nov. 13) and Oklahoma City (Nov. 20) all make their lone Bradley Center appearances in November. After March 1, the Bucks will only have three games against teams from the Western Conference: March 4 vs. Phoenix, March 23 vs. Sacramento and the regular season finale at Oklahoma City on April 13.
Milwaukee will host four four-game home stands on the season. The first is a four-game set from December 4-10 featuring Orlando, Miami, Indiana and Houston. In February, the Bucks host Indiana (Feb. 12), the Los Angeles Clippers (Feb. 14), Denver Nuggets (Feb. 16) and Minnesota Timberwolves (Feb. 22). Milwaukee closes February with the start of a four-game home stand against Chicago (Feb. 26) and continues with Detroit (March 1), Phoenix (March 4) and Boston (March 6). The final extended home stand covers March 16-23 when Orlando, New Jersey, New York and Sacramento all visit the Bradley Center.
The 2010-11 schedule features four road trips of three games, with the first coming Dec. 20-23 with Milwaukee traveling to Portland, L.A. Lakers and Sacramento. Other extended road trips include a three-game swing to play the L.A. Clippers (Jan. 31), Phoenix (Feb. 2) and Golden State (Feb. 3), and a late-season trip to face Charlotte (March 28), Toronto (March 30) and Indiana (April 1).
The Bucks are slated for four nationally televised games on ESPN, beginning with the Nov. 3 game at Boston, followed by Feb. 16 vs. Denver, March 6 vs. Boston, and the April 6 contest at Miami. Milwaukee will also have four games carried by NBATV. The Fox Sports Wisconsin broadcast schedule will be released in the near future.

SCHEDULING NOTES: The Bucks will play each team in the Eastern Conference four times with the exception of Boston (1 home, 2 road), Charlotte (2 home, 1 road), New Jersey (2 home, 1 road) and Washington (1 home, 2 road) ... They will play each Western Conference team twice ... The Bucks have 23 back-to-back sets (12 road/home, 7 home/road, 4 road/road) the most since 24 back-to-back sets in 1994-95 (had 23 in 2002-03) ... The Bucks will open their season on the road for the 26th consecutive season (14-11 during that span) ... For the first time since 1973, the Bucks will play on New Year's Day (vs. Dallas at 8 p.m.) ...
