NOTE: The Brick Bar, a LEGO-themed pop-up bar that wascoming to Milwaukee in July has been postponed. A new date in September is expected to be announced.
Maybe you have tubs of LEGOs in your basement that have followed you from apartment to apartment, a pleasant reminder of your youth. Or maybe, you’re a parent who has long forgotten the feeling of stepping on a plastic block and you only remember the hours of fun building with your kids.
Either way, you’ll love The Brick Bar, a LEGO-themed pop-up bar that’s coming to Milwaukee. (The event is not affiliated with LEGO Group.)
The pop-up takes place at Enlightened Brewing Company, 2020 S. Allis St., in Bay View and tickets, which are on sale now, are $22.
Part nostalgia, part creative fun, part unique interactive party, The Brick Bar will have more than a million building blocks, brick sculptures, prizes for best builds, ping pong on a table made of 22,500 bricks and other fun stuff – ball pitttttt!!! – for a fun outing. Plus, a dj will be rockin’ the blocks all day long.
Kids 5 and under get in free, but note that from 6 p.m. onward, the event is 21 and up only.
Tickets (non-refundable) are for timed admissions of 90 minutes.
The pop-up is also visiting other cities, including Los Angles, Chicago, San Francisco, Winnipeg, Denver, Calgary, Cleveland and San Diego.
