Last week, star pitcher Corbin Burnes gave Brewers fans even more to cheer about during their Thursday night win over the Baltimore Orioles, covering the tab for fans at the team's Brewers Eve Bash at Leff's Lucky Town. And apparently Burnes was just the start as the team announced it will foot fans' bar tabs more than a dozen times throughout the season.

Called "This One's On Me," the player-led effort will select a surprise bar or restaurant during each of the 13 remaining Friday road games on the 2022 schedule and cover customers' tabs for the night starting at 5 p.m. The venues will remain a mystery until the night of, but the player taking care of the bill will be revealed in advance. For instance, on Friday, April 22, while the Brew Crew's in Philadelphia taking on the Phillies, Christian Yelich will cover the tab at a restaurant to be revealed that night.
"This week it’s on me, Brewers fans," said Yelich, in a release. "It’s just a small way of showing appreciation for the all the great support over the years. Enjoy!"
Here's the schedule for the rest of the Brewers' surprise tab takeovers, all during Friday road games:
- April 22
- May 6
- May 13

- June 10
- June 17
- July 1
- July 15
- July 29

- Aug. 19
- Sept. 2

That's not the end of the Brew Crew bonuses, though, as the team announced two more regular giveaways for the 2022 season: Ticket Tuesdays and Fans First. On Ticket Tuesdays, Bernie and more will take to the streets of Milwaukee and the surrounding counties to hand out 1,000 ticket vouchers for the following Tuesday's home game, while Fans First will surprise fans at American Family Field with seat upgrades, concession vouchers and autographed memorabilia.
So no matter how the team does on the field, Brewers fans can come away winners throughout the season.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
