I don't know if you've heard, but winter showed up this week. So let's think about something much warmer: summer, the return of baseball and free stuff!
In December, the Brewers revealed its schedule of promo gate giveaways for the 2019 season, including a bobblehead of the reigning NL MVP Christian Yelich, a Brew Crew fanny pack and much more.
Today the team added to the off-the-field fun with its full list of promos, giveaways and special deal nights for the year, featuring themed ticket packages including a Brewers flannel shirt and a bobblehead of "Orlando Calrissian."
Those two funky giveaways are a part of the six Theme Nights coming to Miller Park, which include the Cabin Fever ticket package on Saturday, March 30 against the St. Louis Cardinals (complete with the flannel shirt) and the Star Wars Night ticket package on Saturday, May 4 versus the New York Mets – which comes with the special interstellar Orlando Arcia bobblehead.
Other Theme Nights include Superhero Day with a Lorenzo Cain superhero bobblehead, "Game of Thrones" Night with a T-shirt tied into the hit HBO show and a Milwaukee Chicks 75th anniversary night on Saturday, June 29, featuring a special giveaway hat tribute.
The complete promotional schedule also includes seven Community Nights, including Pride Night on June 5 with a special Pride hat, as well as the annual Cerveceros Night on July 13 (complete with Cerveceros Sugar Skull bobblehead) and Negro Leagues Tribute Game on June 7 featuring the Brew Crew in their retro Milwaukee Bears uniforms and a ticket package giveaway item to be announced later.
The special collectibles listed are only available via Theme Night and Community Night ticket packages, which include a seat and the giveaway item. All of those special ticket deals will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

And remember, only 12 days until pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training!
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
