The votes are in and the winners have been selected for OnMilwaukee's Best: Bars & Clubs, 2011. Find readers' results in 50 categories, including an editors' pick, in this series of articles that run daily in the Bars and Clubs section of OnMilwaukee.com.

Although it didn't win last year, it really does seem natural that Blu, atop The Pfister Hotel has won the top prize for bar with the best view, as voted by you, the readers of OnMilwaukee.com.

Roots -- which also offers a one of a kind view of the city -- won last year (Blu was second) and the OnMilwaukee.com editorial staff chose the Brewers' Hill gem as its pick.

But we agree with you that Blu is pretty awesome, too. If the great martinis, comfy chairs, live jazz and free cashews weren't good enough, Blu offers a panoramic view of the eastern end of Downtown and out toward Lake Michigan and the southeast.

Roughly half of you also know that the ladies' room at Blu offers a similarly amazing view to the west.
