Milwaukee’s popular BelAir Cantina plans to put a second restaurant in East Tosa a the site of the former Aqua Terra tropical fish store at 6817 W. North Ave.

Today, the popular Mexican restaurant and bar was granted $150,000 in community block development grant funding from the Wauwatosa Economic Development Commission. The grant will assist the restaurant Mojofuco Restaurants group in purchasing the space on North Avenue. 

Although the restaurant partners were unavailable for comment today, additional details are forthcoming.

Mojofuco Restaurants owns the Hi-Hat Lounge, The Garage, Fuel Café, BalzacPalomino and BelAir Cantina in Milwaukee. Partner Scott Johnson also owns Comet Cafe.
