The Bartolotta Restaurants announced today that they have received Notice of Intent and are in discussions with Milwaukee County to assume operations at the McKinley Marina Roundhouse.
According to information released today, the Bartolotta team is working with the County to finalize the concept for the restaurant, including food and beverage options; however, they envision creating an inviting beer garden-type space that takes advantage of the lakeside location and natural surroundings.
If all goes as anticipated, the restaurant located adjacent to the Milwaukee Yacht Club on the Lake Michigan shoreline, is expected to see a soft opening in 2019, with a full opening in the spring of 2020.
According to information released today, it is anticipated that 2019 will be a soft opening, with a full opening in spring 2020. The goal is to operate this summer with an official opening date to follow. Building on its long partnership with Milwaukee County, the group is excited for the potential to contribute to activating the lakefront through this new venture. Additional details will be released as they become available.
The news comes on the back of news that The Notice of Intent to operate Northpoint Custard has been granted to another restaurant operation.
"Bartolottas has enjoyed this long tenure operating Northpoint Custard with the County, which has been well received by the public," the release noted.
