Jasmine West started making art when she was a child and continued studying and creating during high school through the art program at Rufus King. Today, she works on her art projects as often as she can and has completed community projects, children's book illustrations, graphic designs and live paintings. In her free time, she does sketches, crafts and paintings.
"I would describe my art as a bold and positive representation of the black community," says West. "Humanity inspires my art and the effect it has on people."
Since getting laid off from her job during the COVID-19 outbreak, West has had more time to develop her craft.
"I've become closer to my art. I've taken more risky techniques and built on them with my pieces," she says.

Molly Snyder started writing and publishing her work at the age 10, when her community newspaper printed her poem, "The Unicorn.” Since then, she's expanded beyond the subject of mythical creatures and written in many different mediums but, nearest and dearest to her heart, thousands of articles for OnMilwaukee.
Molly is a regular contributor to FOX6 News and numerous radio stations as well as the co-host of "Dandelions: A Podcast For Women.” She's received five Milwaukee Press Club Awards, served as the Pfister Narrator and is the Wisconsin State Fair’s Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Champion of 2019.
