Chef-owner Peggy Magister of Crazy Water, 839 S. 2nd St., hopes to open her second restaurant in Walker’s Point.

AP Bar and Kitchen, 814 S. 2nd St., which will specialize in fresh rustic fare built for sharing, will take the place of the former Fifth Ward Pub & Grill.

AP Bar and Kitchen, which Magister says should open late this summer, will specialize in French and Italian wines, along with craft cocktails. Like Crazy Water,  AP will emphasize fresh food made from locally sourced ingredients.
