Mitchell Nevin, a former member of the Milwaukee Police Department and a cop with almost 30 years of experience, is making a name for himself as a crime author. His second novel, "Psychic Reprieve," was published on Aug. 12 and has been burning up the Amazon.com fiction charts ever since, where it is currently listed at No. 9 on the Sports Fiction list.
