There are several emerging schools of thought on "Moneyball," which tells the story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane. For the most part, the movie has been a hit with casual fans and the general public, though the baseball community hasn't been overly impressed. In short, "Moneyball" is a good movie, though it's significantly different than the 2003 Michael Lewis book on which the story is based.
