Stewart Cink is a gentleman and a terrific golfer, but his victory in the 138th British Open will be remembered as the one that Tom Watson let slip away. Watson, 59, played terrific golf for 71 holes and was on the brink of authoring the sports story of the year when before faltering and losing a four-hole playoff to Cink Sunday at Turnberry in Scotland.
