Refugees from Myanmar, Mirjan Abdul Ghaffar and her family arrived in Milwaukee on Oct. 1 with practically no belongings. Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service reports, however, that she and her family, like many refugees, were welcomed to the city by the International Institute.
