The East Side’s new Whole Foods Market location, the corner of North and Prospect, is on schedule to open in September ’06 under the leadership of grocery professional Jon Gass.
Gass has nearly 12 years of grocery experience as a Whole Foods employee, and was most recently Associate Store Team Leader at the Willowbrook, Ill., location.
The 55,000 sq.-ft. East Side location is Wisconsin’s second store, with Madison claiming the first. It is to be the anchor grocery store for the new Columbia-St. Mary’s Medical Center, scheduled to open in spring 2010.
