Welcome to #WeWant, a weekly selection of the stuff OnMilwaukee.com editors and staffers love.
Wear them: Emily Dickinson poem tights
I don't wear skirts or dresses very often, but I totally would if I had these tights printed with the Emily Dickson poem, "I Gave Myself To Him." You can also provide your own text so maybe I need a few pairs of Emily tights. O – but which poems would I chose? "Because I could not stop for death?" "I dreaded that first robin?" "I had no time to hate because?" She wrote so many good ones and I love them all, tons and tons! -- Molly Snyder
Sleep in them: Pinzon Flannel Sheets
Using flannel sheets makes me feel kind of old. I'm not sure why, and I'm sure it is just me, so I decided to get over it and just get a pair for the upcoming winter months. The Pinzon Flannel Sheets are so soft and cuddly -- like sleeping in a comfortable hug. Who wouldn't like that? The fitted sheet fit perfectly on my deep pocket mattress and they have only become better after washing. Bundle up, Milwaukee. Winter is a comin'. -- Carolynn Buser
Use it: SodaStream
Unlike some people at OnMilwaukee.com (Andy Tarnoff) I am not a real gadget guy. But I recently took a flyer and bought a SodaStream machine. This thing is supposed to carbonate water and then you can add flavors to make a fully carbonated drink. You don’t have to buy soda at the store and you don’t have to dispose of plastic bottles all over the Earth. To say I was skeptical was an understatement. Holy cow! Not only did it work as advertised (easy as 1, 2, 3) but the drink was wonderful. I made something that is supposed to taste like Dr. Pepper as my first try. I poured it over a glass with ice. Imagine that? It tasted just like Dr. Pepper. There’s a slew of flavors and accessories. I figure I’m going to save a lot of money with this thing and do something good for the environment. Not a bad twofer. -- Dave Begel
Download it: Oasis "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" deluxe edition (Big Brother Records)
As always these days, you can spend as much or as little as you want on this reissue. There's an everything but the kitchen sink edition at the top of the line and, at the bottom, this three-CD reissue of what is, to me, Oasis' finest hour. The band hadn't quite found its stride before this 1995 sophomore effort and afterward never seemed to know how to end a song. The original record is here, of course, including the hits -- "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," etc. -- along with an entire disc of b-sides and extra tracks and a third with 14 previously unreleased demos and live tunes. The faithful may scoff, but I've got all the Oasis I'll ever need right here on these three discs. (OK, I wouldn't mind getting the set that gives the same treatment to 1994's "Definitely Maybe.") -- Bobby Tanzilo
Shoot it: Marshmallow Double Shooter
My kid wanted a paintball gun for a year or so, but I was hesitant to buy one because of the potential painty mess and also because I heard it can be painful getting shot by one. That said, and considering he has a younger brother, I decided not to get him one. Hence, the marshmallow gun was the perfect gift for his 12th birthday. It works well – can shoot about 30 feet – and the "bullets" are soft, cheap and easy to find. I even enjoyed bombarding my unsuspecting partner with marshmallows one evening. -- Molly Snyder
