As fall arrives, football keeps tailgating season alive! Here are a few of the things #WeWant to make our tailgating experience better than ever.
Heat It Up: Secret Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce
Fact: Everything's better with hot sauce. Secret Aardvark is in a class by itself, billing itself accurately as "a unique Caribbean, Tex-Mex hybrid." It blurs the line between salsa and hot sauce by pairing a bit of tomato with that floral habanero heat. Sausage, potato salad, chips, burgers, ribs; it'll spice up all of your tailgate stalwarts. Try it the next day on your eggs, too. – Nick Barth
Throw them: Frisbee rings
There only time I like to play Frisbee (which is Wham-O's trade name for the more generic "flying disc") is before a sporting event or at a beach, but when I Frisbee, I really like to Frisbee, and these are the best. They are lightweight, easy to catch and very directable which means more playing and less chasing. I already own one of these, but I would certainly take a back up. – Molly Snyder
Grill them: SA Braai sausages
I'm always looking for a good excuse to pick up a package (or two or three) of SA Braai Boerewors sausages, and football season is as good of an excuse as any. The sausages, made from premium pork, beef and a blend of special seasonings, are considered the "brat" of South Africa. And they easily compete with some of Milwaukee's more traditional sausages in terms of flavor. Pick up a jar of their South African chutney to serve alongside. It's a great deviation from ketchup. Find your boerewors at a variety of local grocers and butcher shops. – Lori Fredrich
Download it: MiLB.com First Pitch app
Since you're tailgating at the ball game, you must like baseball, right? While the Brewers' season is a wash, there's no better way to keep track of the future right now than with this app that tracks minor league action from the rookie level all the way up to Triple-A ball. Much like MLB's At Bat app, there are standings, rosters, schedules, news, stats, Gameday, audio and video broadcasts of games, video highlights and more for dozens of minor league squads, including those of your Milwaukee Brewers. Alas, looking at the Triple-A Sky Sox record won't make you very happy right now, either (60-77, and in last place in their division as I write this). There's always next year. – Bobby Tanzilo
