Stallis will sound superb this summer as the city will bring back its outdoor summer music series with Thursdays of live music and festivities scheduled throughout the sunny season.
Hitting the stage at Veterans Memorial Park, found at 6900 W. National Ave., the West Allis Summer Music Series will rock out from 5-8 p.m. across four Thursdays – one each month – beginning June 22. Each night will come complete with food trucks, beer courtesy of 1840 Brewing (serving begins at 5 p.m.), family activities and plenty of space to put down a chair or blanket to soak in the sun and the sound.
Speaking of which, here's the schedule of performers coming to the West Allis Summer Music Series this season.
- Thursday, June 22 – Cactus Bros.
- Thursday, July 20 – De La Buena
- Thursday, Aug. 24 – Milwaukee Blues Rock Collective
- Thursday, Sept. 7 – Sweet Sheiks
Performers will begin playing each night at 6 p.m.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
