Adam Levin has long been rescuing, collecting and sharing vintage images of Milwaukee via his Facebook groups and his books, like "Kodachrome Milwaukee." Here, he shares shots of families enjoying themselves around the house and around the town.

Levin finds the photographs at estate sales, in antique stores and via donations.

You can see lots in his "Kodachrome Milwaukee" book (his ghost signs book is pretty great, too) and on the Old Milwaukee and Kodachrome Milwaukee Facebook groups.

But here are a few to bring a smile to your face on this winter's day.
