While the ladies at the Memorial Day cookout were chatting about the upcoming "Sex and the City" movie, my 17-year-old nephew, Ross, and I talked about his anticipation for the new Adam Sandler flick, "You Don't Mess With the Zohan."
That got me to thinking...
As a sensitive male of the 21st century, I can handle the SATC gang -- and their cosmopolitans and Manolos -- in small doses. That's pretty much the way I feel about Adam Sandler, too. Funny guy. Loved him on "Saturday Night Live." I thought he was terrific in "Spanglish," "The Wedding Singer" and a few other dramatic roles. But, there are times when seeing him on screen for 2 hours can be a little bit too much.
I'm wondering whether "Zohan" will be worth a trip to the multiplex, if only because it seems like Hollywood owes us a goofball "guy" movie to counteract the "Sex and the City" hysteria.
Here is the trailer for "Zohan." What do you think?

Which film will send you the nearest multiplex?
