There's still a bit of time to say farewell before Tosa Bowl and Bun, 7212 W. North Ave., closes its doors.
The Venturi family announced today on Facebook that their last day of operations will be Friday, July 22, with a farewell celebration held on Saturday, July 23 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Their heartfelt message, which posted earlier today reads:
The Venturis have decided it's time to hang up our aproons and close Tosa Bowl and Bun.
We feel extremely privileged to have opened Venturi's Market in 1997 and, after a short break, Tosa Bowl and Bun in 2015.
To say we are proud to have been able to be part of the Wauwatosa community for 25 years is an understatement. As hard as it was to come to this decision, we just believe it is time.
Thank you a million times over for your patronage and suppoort throughout the years. We will miss being part of your family celebrations and daily routines.
Thanks for 25 years of memories,
Pete, Sue, Lorry and Celia
