It's graduation day, one of the biggest days of your young life. Your friends are all around you, proudly dressed in the same celebratory robes. Your family is happily beaming down on you from the seats. You've worked four years – or more – for this moment, this piece of fancy paper, and now, it's yours. Could life be any more perfect?
Well, one of the biggest pop stars on the planet could give you a shout-out on Twitter. Forget the diploma; that'd be the biggest honor of the day!
That's exactly what happened to graduates from UWM this past weekend. As a special graduation bonus, the university created a YouTube video of various UWM grads – and a surprisingly nimble UWM Chancellor Mark Mone – dancing around Milwaukee to Justin Timberlake's new summer jam "Can't Stop The Feeling!"
As of writing, the video's racked up 89,184 views – one of which must be JT himself, as the pop star took to Twitter to congratulate the grads on their big day and their dope dance moves.
Congrats @UWM grads! 🎉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Impressive!! #uwmgrad #CantStopTheFeeling #Graduation edition: https://t.co/qdvjZShsq8 — Justin Timberlake (@jtimberlake) May 23, 2016
Bad news, grandma; your gift of a graduation card and $20 just got outdone.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
