With his Super Bowl halftime show performance coming up this Sunday, pop star The Weeknd announced several new and rescheduled dates for his "After Hours" world tour – including a stop at Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum, starting the weekend early on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022.
The Weeknd made his live Milwaukee debut back in 2018 as a Amp headliner at Summerfest.
An up-and-coming R&B pop singer from Canada who won over early fans with dark, moody mixtapes like "House of Balloons," The Weeknd made his mainstream breakout in 2014, capped with the release of "Beauty Behind the Madness" the following year. The album featured hit singles like "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills," and earned a lot of Grammy attention, scoring a win for Best Urban Contemporary Album as well as nominations for Album of the Year and Record of the Year for "Can't Feel My Face." Around that time, he also released "Earned It" for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" soundtrack, a Top 40 hit along with a Grammy winner for Best R&B Performance and an Oscar nominee for Best Original Song.
His star's only risen since then, releasing more hits like "Starboy," "I Feel It Coming," "Pray for Me" off the "Black Panther" soundtrack, "Blinding Lights" and his latest radio hit, "Save Your Tears." He also appeared on screen as a fictional version of himself in the critically acclaimed Adam Sandler drama "Uncut Gems."
Tickets for the show will go on sale on Monday, Feb. 8 – the day after his big Super Bowl gig – at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.
Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more concert updates and more. And in the meantime, ladies and gentlemen ... The Weeknd.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
