It's been just over a year since The Love Shack began slinging tiki drinks at 106 W. Seeboth St.

But if you haven't had the opportunity to spend a bit of time at the "funky little shack," you should do so very soon, because the venue will be closing to embark upon a rebrand. Exactly when they will close remains somewhat uncertain.

Earlier this evening, the riverfront bar and restaurant posted the following to its Facebook timeline:

Curious to learn more about the closing, we reached out to General Manager Kyle Blades for more information. He said that the venue has not yet set its closing date, but that they expect to close in the next couple of weeks. He noted that they are likely to have a firm date for the closing in the next "week or so."

So, "bang, bang on the door," folks, while you still can. In the meantime, keep your eyes on OnMilwaukee for updates as they become available.
