This summer, it'll be time for classic rock fans to fly to the BMO Pavilion, as Summerfest announced yet another 2024 headliner act for the grounds stage: REO Speedwagon, performing during the Big Gig's second weekend on Friday, June 28.
The "Can't Fight This Feeling" and "Keep On Loving You" '70s and '80s rockers last played Milwaukee just last year, serving as Main Stage headliners for the Wisconsin State Fair. They also played the AmFam Amp in 2022 alongside fellow throwback rock act Styx.
REO Speedwagon joins Brittany Howard, Mt. Joy and Ivan Cornejo as the Big Gig's BMO Pavilion headliners for this summer, with more acts to be announced.
Tickets for the REO Speedwagon show will go on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster and Summerfest's website as well as in person at the Summerfest box office. And as always, as a BMO Pavilion show, there will also be day-of first come, first served general admission seating as well.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
