Last month, Summerfest dropped its massive list of headliner acts – and in a rare moment of pleasant online agreement, everybody seemed to agree that it was really great, offering a mix of big names for young and old, classic shows and new hip artists. And now, the Big Gig is adding to its monolithic mountain of musicians, announcing several new names to its performer list this morning.

One such name: Big Boi, formerly one-half of the iconic rap tandem Outkast and current hitmaker with his recent Apple-approved radio smash, "All Night." He'll be taking the stage at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater on Saturday, July 7, joining main headliner The Weeknd.

Other new additions to the Summerfest performer lineup include:

  • All-American Rejects
  • The Wallflowers
  • Third World
  • Jack & Jack
  • Third Eye Blind
  • The Wailers
  • Midland
  • Jonathan Davis of Korn
  • Belly
  • In Real Life
  • Lucky Boys Confusion
  • Drax Project
  • The Sisterhood
  • Jukebox the Ghost
  • Becca Mancari
  • Logan Henderson
  • Dorothy
  • The New Power Generation

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
