Summerfest brings acts to Milwaukee from all over the world, but also does a pretty swell job showcasing the talent brewing right in our city. This year, Summerfest increased efforts to represent local makers and musicians with a new Shop Local Market and booked a plethora of Wisconsin-based bands and musicians from DJs to jazz duos to good ol’ rock ’n’ rollers.
Here’s an easy-to-skim list of local music scheduled for the first weekend of the Big Gig at the time of publication. This article will be updated throughout the week. See ya at the Big Gig, Milwaukee!
