The Big Gig is going big on country thus far, as the world's largest music festival announced yet another headliner from the world of country this morning: Keith Urban, who will take the Amp stage on Saturday, June 29.
The four-time Grammy-winning country artist will be joined at the Summerfest show by opening acts NEEDTOBREATHE and Lindsay Ell.
The show will mark Urban's second lakefront stop in three years, hitting the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in August 2022. He last played Summerfest proper all the way back in 2015.
Tickets for the Keith Urban headlining show will go on sale beginning Friday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. at both Summerfest's website and Ticketmaster, as well as in person at the Summerfest box office.
Urban joins a Big Gig lineup that currently includes Kane Brown on opening night, Motley Crue and Tyler Childers. More is sure to be announced – so stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more headliner reveals. And for more Milwaukee concert info, be sure to check out our monthly concert guide.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
