Walk The Moon. Maren Morris. X Ambassadors. In past years, before they were major names, these and many other noteworthy bands were a part of Summerfest's Emerging Artists Series.

This year, the Big Gig will attempt to add yet another name to that impressive list with its newly announced Emerging Artists Series schedule, featuring up-and-coming talent from across the city, country and globe all hitting the Summerfest stage – and vying for your vote. 

The Johnson Controls World Sound Stage will once again host the Emerging Artists Series festivities, with 44 musicians and bands hitting the stage and hoping to score the most fan votes that day. The act with the most votes at the endow the day will earn an "Emerging Artists Series Care Package" featuring almost $3,000 in gear and merchandise to help them keep on rising up the radio charts.
