It happens every year with pomp and circumstance. The entire congress of elected leaders and other people in power positions in Washington gather and hear a version of what is going on in the country.

President Obama will be walking down the aisle and then delivers his State of the Union address. Throughout the years, since the early days of television, national news outlets have covered the event in offer information to the viewers.

Tuesday night won’t be different than what it was in the past. Stations will cover each moment of Obama’s perspective on where the nation is and where it is going.

Expect coverage on most channels, including these, which shared programming plans with OnMilwaukee.com:

FOX NEWS: The cable outlet will present live coverage of the State of the Union address and the Republican response from Washington starting just before 8 p.m. Bret Baier of "Special Report" will anchor the coverage and moderate a panel of commentators, including contributors Steve Hayes, George Will, Juan Williams and Nina Easton. White House correspondent Ed Henry and chief congressional correspondent Mike Emanuel will provide live reports from the White House and Capitol Hill throughout the evening.

On Fox affiliate channels, including WITI-TV Ch. 6 in Milwaukee, will have Shepard Smith as the anchor with separate live coverage at 8 p.m. Contributions will also be provided by Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace.

 The live broadcast will have "The O’Reilly" Factor at 7 p.m., followed by the address and response around 7:55 p.m.

FOX NEWS RADIO: With all the crackles and pops fit for the medium, Fox News Radio will  offer coverage beginning at 8 p.m. anchored by national correspondent Tonya Powers along with national correspondent Jared Halpern and White House correspondent Jon Decker.

Political analyst Jeff Birnbaum and author Jane Hampton Cook will provide analysis of the president’s speech as well as the Republican response.

FOX BUSINESS NETWORK: Neil Cavuto will anchor a "Fox Business Special Repor"t with live coverage of President Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Cavuto will be joined by the cable outlet’s Peter Barnes and Rich Edson, who will be providing live reports from Washington. Following the address, the channel will present a live special edition of "Stossel," hosted by John Stossel, at 10 p.m.

Guests will include Rep. Kristi Noem, R-S.D.; Rep. Henry Cueller, D-Texas; Rep. Charlie Rangel, D-N.Y.; Governor Mary Fallin, R-Okla.; Former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Henry Cisneros; and Sen. Daines, R-MT.

AL JAZEERA: Al Jazeera America will offer news and analysis on the State of the Union address live from 7 p.m. to midnight from New York and Washington on Tuesday. Anchor John Seigenthaler will broadcast live from New York with anchors Tony Harris, Ray Suarez and White House correspondent Mike Viqueira and NYU Professor of Campaign Management Jeanne Zaino.

The network will air special State of the Union programming focusing on major issues facing the nation and including: global extremism after the Paris massacre, the economy, gridlock politics, race relations after Ferguson and immigration.

Guests for the special will include Colonel Cedric Leighton, a former Air Force Colonel and f00ormer member of the joint chiefs; Ambassador James Jeffries, former ambassador to both Iraq and Turkey and former Deputy National Security Advisor; Tricia Rose, Brown University professor of Africana Studies; Cesar Vargas, Dream Action Coalition; and Mo Elleithee, DNC Communications Director.

Leading up to, during, and after the speech Al Jazeera America’s Wajahat Ali will be live at the Newseum in Washington examining issues bubbling up on social media as the team monitors tweets from members of Congress and the world in real-time.  In addition, Al Jazeera America correspondents Michael Shure and Libby Casey will be live on Capitol Hill with interviews and post-speech analysis.  The channel’s David Shuster will also provide analysis and report results of the first-ever Al Jazeera America/Monmouth University nationwide poll.

From 6 to 6:30 p.m., the network will air a special edition of Real Money with Ali Velshi: "The State of the Economy." From 7:30 to 8 p.m., a world perspective will be offered with Peter Sharp in Moscow, Jane Arraf in Baghdad and David Ariosto in Havana.
