Snuggle up with some holiday cheer as OnMilwaukee shares stories of everything merry and bright in the spirit of the season.

The OnMilwaukee Ho Ho Holiday Guide is brought to you by Harley-Davidson Museum and MolsonCoors

It's the holiday season – no, not Christmas. No, I'm not talking about New Year's either. I'm of course talking about National Cream Puff Day, which falls on Tuesday, Jan. 2 – and the Wisconsin State Fair is obviously celebrating the airy dessert, ringing in 100 years of the traditional treat with a giveaway and more.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the cream puff at the Wisconsin State Fair, the summer extravaganza will give away ten vouchers for a free six-pack of puffs redeemable during this year's edition of the State Fair. To enter for your chance at the free fluffy confections, head over to the Original Cream Puffs Facebook page on Tuesday and follow the instructions.

As a bonus National Cream Puff Day gift from State Fair-a Claus, their current holiday sale – featuring deals on State Fair tickets, cream puff six-packs, coupon packs and more – has been extended until Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 11:59 p.m. To check out the holiday deals, visit the State Fair's website

That's just the start of the Wisconsin State Fair's cream puff centenary celebrations – so stay tuned for a special batch of drive-thru puffs filled with new flavors coming your way on March 15-17 in honor of St. Patrick's Day. And, of course, stay tuned for the main event: the entire Wisconsin State Fair, once again serving up all sorts of Sporkies, rides, shows, shenanigans and (surprise!) cream puffs on Aug. 1-11.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
