We've partnered with the Wisconsin State Fair to share some of our favorite stories of the #greatmkesummer. Join us at the Fair this summer! Get all the details on the 2021 Wisconsin State Fair here.
It's a nice day for a white wedding ... and for more Wisconsin State Fair musical acts as the late-summer festival announced that '80s rock hero Billy Idol will hit the Main Stage on Sunday, Aug. 8.
The "Dancing with Myself" and "Rebel Yell" punk rocker joins Skillet, Chris Young, Casting Crowns, Foreigner, Brothers Osborne, Boyz II Men, The Beach Boys and Hank Williams Jr. as the State Fair's headlining acts for its in-person return, taking place Aug. 5-15.
Tickets for Billy Idol will go on sale beginning Thursday, May 20 at 9 a.m. at the Wisconsin State Fair's website. Reserved seating tickets will cost either $40, $45 or $50 and, as always, will come complete with admission for that day at the Wisconsin State Fair. For more information, visit the State Fair's website.
And stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more summer festival updates.
As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.
When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
