On Friday night, Five O’Clock Steakhouse, 2416 W. State St., will hold the fourth annual Milwaukee Legends Beer Dinner in support of Capuchin Community Services – House of Peace and St. Ben’s Community Meal.
The event – hosted by Jim Klisch of Lakefront Brewery and Randy Sprecher and Don Wambach of Sprecher Brewery – begins at 6 p.m. and includes a four-course dinner with beer pairings from the two Milwaukee breweries.
Tickets are $70 per person and a portion of the proceeds benefits St. Ben’s, which provides more than 2,000 meals a week to Milwaukeeans in need, along with other support services for the city’s working poor.
On the menu are appetizers like beer-battered bacon-wrapped shrimp and prosciutto- and basil-wrapped provolone, a summer salad, a lamb osso bucco entree and dessert.
Each brewery will pour a pairing for each of the four courses – that’s eight tastes of Milwaukee-made brew! You can see a PDF of the full menu here.
