Tackle the rustic wilderness with hundreds of miles of ATV trails waiting to be ridden. These scenic passages offer breathtaking lake views and picturesque landscapes worth stopping for. Iron County ATV Trails – Hurley
Nearly 200 miles of ATV trails wind past lakes, waterfalls and heritage sites, so you know this will be a ride worth remembering. The trails incorporate historic transportation, mining and lumbering sites as well as stunning waterfalls and other natural surroundings. An added bonus? There’s easy access to communities, lodging, restaurants and county parks for family to enjoy before and after the journey.
Solberg Trail – Phillips
The Solberg Trail is located northwest of Phillips in the Price County Forest and Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The trail is 9.5 miles long, includes trail riding and road routes and has a gravel surface. The interesting, diverse trail crosses wooden boardwalks and meanders through a variety of different forest types. If you’re spending the night, campsites are available along with endless other outdoor recreation activities.
Cheese Country Recreation Trail – Monroe
Meandering 47-miles and traversing parts of three counties is the Cheese Country Multiple-Use Recreation Trail. This trail brings your family to the artisan community of Mineral Point at one end and "Cheese City USA" Monroe on the other. After ATVing, enjoy cheese, beer and a drive-in movie theater. When you’re not witnessing the historic communities, shops and restaurants along the trail, you’ll take in the gorgeous wooded areas and marshes.
Chippewa County ATV Trails – Chippewa Falls
Perfect for families willing to spice things up a bit with a challenge, the steep hills and valleys of Chippewa County provides top-notch ATV terrain. With more than 19 miles to explore, defining scenery includes small lakes, beaver dams, spectacular vistas and abundant wildlife. Rich history included, this unique landscape was created by glaciers thousands of years ago.
Oneida County ATV Trails – Rhinelander
Enjoy some rugged beauty with the smell of pine trees on Oneida County’s ATV trails, located in the southwestern part of the county. The Lynne/Little Rice Lake ATV trail system offers 16 miles of woodland trails, 23 miles of connecting road routes and 76 miles of open town roads. You’ll find plenty of stops along the way, making this a great destination for a family ride.
