The coronavirus pandemic has changed our everyday life, but it doesn't need to change who we are. So, in addition to our ongoing coverage of the coronavirus, OnMilwaukee will continue to report on cool, fun, inspiring and strange stories from our city and beyond. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay informed and stay joyful. We're all in this together. #InThisTogetherMKE
"Since Sour Fest was going to be this Saturday," says MobCraft's Henry Schwartz, "we are pivoting to digital."
What that means is that while the second annual in-person celebration of wild yeast won't take place at the brewery at 505 S. 5th St., beer lovers can still salute sour beer together.
"But we’re happy we can enjoy sour beers together while being safe," reads the Facebook event page for this new version.
"Join us at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 via Zoom for a MobCraft staff hosted celebration of sour beers! Enter code 692-496-276 to join the meeting. Cheers!"
Click here to order a Sour Fest at Home Kit, which includes a reusable bottle bag, Wild & Sour poster and six beers – Thai'd Up, Flanders Red, Sour on the Vine, Diligence Peach, Nuance Sour and Golden Ale Cranberry – for $30.
Order it now and it'll be ready for pickup in 15-20 minutes. You can also order pretzels and pizzas.
