With Mike Gousha's departure, there are no anchors worth watching. Every station is focused on blood, sex and more sex. Not one has an real background in reporting and none have the courage to say no to all these sex stories that are all the rage. Can anyone remember the last time Milwaukee TV news broke any major news story? Scandal after scandal occurs and all TV news can do is try and jump on the bandwagon. It's a disgrace but it does leave more time for watching The Simpsons on reruns. You'll find more news there than on any local TV station.

Right now, my vote for Milwaukee's top news anchor has to go to Charles Benson. Mr. Benson has to be the hardest working reporter in the city. He seems to be at all the late breaking news stories interviewing the key people of the event. Then on the weekends, Mr. Benson is at the WTMJ anchor desk where he is as comfortable delivering the news as he is in the field reporting the news. When he delivers the news, Mr. Benson isn't just reading words on the page; he knows what he is talking about. So when I asked myself if there was any one newsperson in town I wanted to have dinner with and talk about the news, Charles Benson was the guy.
