On Saturday, Aug. 29, there'll be a fleet of ducks racing down the Milwaukee River. The Red Cross' "Rubber Duck Regatta" launches from the Milwaukee Ale House to send rubber ducks racing in water for charity.  This inaugural event is presented by OnMilwaukee.com.

Attendees can purchase rubber ducks and then enter them in the race to win a host of prizes including autographed sports equipment, entertainment passes, tickets and memberships all to benefit the American Red Cross.

The all-day event includes food, drink and live music from The Whiskeybelles, Blonde on Blonde, The Blackberries, Dj Syquest and Kid Cut Up.

Rubber ducks are $5 each and can be purchased at the Red Cross, Laacke and Joys, Bradford Beach House, The Milwaukee Ale House or on the "Rubber Duck Regatta" Web site.
