Jeremy Shamrowicz from Flux Design posted his new art work on Facebook today. So, I walked out of our office at CityCenter at 735 to check it out.
Perched on the Mason Street Landing on the Riverwalk in Downtown Milwaukee, the art piece features Flux's signature metal work as a box, with a question mark captured inside the box's net. As a few on Twitter said when I sent out a photo of the piece it looks as though Riddler and Spiderman came together in way.
For me, the new piece seems to encourage us to not think outside the box, but inside of it. It's a good way to think as it helps us meet the needs of others.
I didn't reach out to Shamrowicz for comment yet, because I'd first like to know your thoughts on this new piece of public art.
Does it work? Inspire? Make you think? Or, just sit there?

A life-long and passionate community leader and Milwaukeean, Jeff Sherman is a co-founder of OnMilwaukee.
He grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Marquette University, as a Warrior. He holds an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University, and is the founding president of Young Professionals of Milwaukee (YPM)/Fuel Milwaukee.

He owns a condo in Downtown and lives in greater Milwaukee with his wife Stephanie, his son, Jake, and daughter Pierce. He's a political, music, sports and news junkie and thinks, for what it's worth, that all new movies should be released in theaters, on demand, online and on DVD simultaneously.
