Defender Giant Scale SWAT R/C Copter – There are R/C helicopters and there are R/C helicopters. I've seen the little flying choppers the mall, and they're cute. But the Defender from ThinkGeek is a beast. Really, it looks more like a scale model with its pilot and gunner action figures, and if you're not careful, it looks like it could decapitate you. Bedazzled in all sorts of great "Engrish," it'll fly for seven minutes with a 20-minute charge time. It's reasonably sturdy, too: given the number of times I've crashed it into the floor and ceiling, only the non-essential plastic windshield broke off, and it still flies well. When the weather gets nicer, I plan on taking it outside – to a big, empty field – and really learning how to fly this bad boy. At $34.99, this bird is no toy. – Andy Tarnoff
Stone Creek's Cold Brew Coffee – Milwaukee roaster Stone Creek is again brewing up some cool coffee for the warm days ahead and you can get it in 64-ounce growlers that run $4.95 and can be filled with single-strength cold brew for $10 and double-strength for $4 more. "To create our Cold Brew Coffee, we soak our freshly ground Brazilian beans in room temperature water for 15 hours," says Stone Creek's Steve Hawthorne. "This creates a delicious full-bodied flavor with very little acidity. When enjoyed over ice, the buttery smooth chocolate notes of this coffee will keep you refreshed on our warm spring and summer days." Yes! – Bobby Tanzilo
Ron Faiola's "Wisconsin Supper Clubs: An Old Fashioned Experience" DVD – I finally watched this documentary and, like his documentary about local fish fries, I really enjoyed it. Faiola visits numerous old school supper clubs all over the state and interviews the families behind the food. He also presents some tantalizing shots of supper club classics from relish plates to prime rib to brandy drinks almost as big as a deer head. I particularly appreciated his inclusion of Racine's HobNob, one of my all-time favorite joints in southeastern Wisconsin. In a world where foodie food and fast food seem to dominate, it's great to realize the vintage supper club still has a place at the table. Faiola will release a companion book about supper clubs this fall. – Molly Snyder
Eye M Glam – When Kim Kardashian staged the biggest wedding of 2011 I started carrying around magazine tears of her makeup look in my kit for reference, as it became one of the most requested for my brides at the time. The Kim K makeup look in general has made smoky eyes, a heavy lash and highlighted, glowing skin a permanent fixture on the makeup roster. Kardashian’s go-to makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovichas, created a product in conjunction with Giella Custom Blend Cosmetics to help recreate that "glowy" part of Kim’s look for yourself at home! "Eye M Glam" is a sheer, loose mineral pigment that imparts a golden smolder wherever you place it. Beautiful dusted above the cheekbone, under the brow bone, down the bridge of the nose and above the cupid’s bow of the lip, your skin will be illuminated by this universally flattering shade.
