Back for the ninth year is the Milwaukee PubPass, a beer passport that gets you a free pint of beer at 26 Brew City-area brewery taprooms and bars.
“We’ve been in MKE since 2015, connecting craft beer enthusiasts to all the new, unique spots in the city,” says Milwaukee curator Diane Dowland. “This year new spots include 3 Sheeps Brewing, AJ OBradys, Wisconsin on Tap, Amorphic Beer, Big Sky Country, Brewski’s, Camino, Central Waters, Dugout 54, Great Lakes Distillery, Indeed Brewing, Perspective Brewing and Torzala Brewing Co.
“So it’s almost a brand new book.”
And since the pass costs just $25, that’s less than a buck a beer! (Please not that the bars determine which beers are available to PubPass holders.)
Here's a complete list of participants:
"Milwaukee is a fantastic beer city with great energy and we love the unique mix of bars," co-founder Jake Nyberg told our Molly Snyder.
"We are not aiming for the 'where can I get a free beer' crowd. The PubPass is for people who love mixing up where they go for a drink, meeting new people and tipping their bartenders."
You can order the book here.
There’s also an app to which you can subscribe for $5 a month that can be used in any of the PubPass cities around the country, including Madison, Des Moines, St. Louis, the Twin Cities, Denver, D.C. and more.
If you’re a bar or brewery owner and want to take part in PubPass, email Dowland at diane@getpubpass.com.
