Pere Marquette Park will channel old-world Munich with a new pop-up beer garden Friday, Aug. 17.

Old German Beer Hall and Westown Association have teamed up to bring the traditional beer garden experience to the park.

The Beer Hall's Free Beer Friday will also relocate to the garden for the season, tapping one free keg and offering a Westown prize package to the patron who receives the last cup of beer.

The pop-up beer garden will run from noon to 9 p.m. Alcohol carry-ins are not allowed, but snacks are welcome.
